The 2010 Crediton Food and Drink Festival.

We will be the main sponsors of the Crediton Food and Drink Festival this year, a community based event, which champions locally produced food and produce. The event is planned to take place on the 19th and 20th of June. As well as cookery demonstrations and producers there are plans afoot for a cabaret evening with music, dance and comedy. Judi thrills the crowds at the Crediton Festival.

As main sponsors of the Crediton Festival last year, we were delighted to welcome Judi Spiers and Chris Archambault, head Chef of Hotel Barcelona, along to the proceedings. Everyone had a fantastic day and Judi and Chris entertained the crowds as well as cooking up a storm in the specially prepared kitchen Ashgrove made for the event.

As part of the Food Festival there were cooking demonstrations all day long from a variety of Chefs, as well as the Farmers Market all located in the town square in Crediton.

To help things along we also made up a luxury hamper full of beautiful local produce which was won by Mrs Burchmore from Cheriton Fitzpaine.

Ashgrove Kitchens supports Families for Children and we would all like to thank Judi, Chris and everyone else involved in the event for such a fun day.

Lucky Winners at county fairs!

Ashgrove Kitchens have been visiting many of the County Fairs and giving away a bottle of champagne to some lucky winners. So far the winners are Mrs Brown of Taunton (Mid Devon show), Mrs Robinson of Westward Ho! (North Devon show) and Mrs Nicky Pace of Okehampton (Okehampton Show).  Congratulations to our winners.

The Ashgrove Charity.

Ashgrove Kitchens is committed to supporting local charities and community events. This year our chosen charity is Families for Children, a voluntary adoption organisation, which places children for adoption throughout the UK and provides long-term support for both the children and adoptive parents.
